Now that Madden NFL 23 is officially coming, more and more details about the upcoming title are starting to get released. Just one day after Madden NFL 23 officially got its cover star, EA is now sharing other tidbits including some details about changes to its franchise mode.
The franchise mode in Madden has long been a focus of anger and frustration with most of those complaints centering around the idea from those that were unhappy that the game was mostly just a «reskin» of the previous year's title with a few changes here and there. Electronic Arts has also claimed before that the changes to the mode were in direct response to those complaints. It appears that the company is once again claiming that changes it has made to the franchise mode are based on what players have reported were things that needed to be tweaked.

Not long after the official Madden NFL 23 release date was announced and the preorders went live, EA shed some light on what changes are in store in the revamped franchise mode. Some of the tweaks are apparently improvements on changes from last year like staff management, weekly game planning and scouting. Those aren't going to be the only things that Electronics Arts has said it's improved on in that mode.
The company is also highlighting that this version of the long-running franchise is going to have a simplified interface. The company said the simplified UI is geared towards making it a bit easier for players to understand exactly what they want to do in order to have a successful franchise.
