Euphoria actor Sydney Sweeney has revealed how she is preparing for her newest role in Madame Web. The star was recently added to the cast of Sony's Spider-Man spinoff movie alongside Dakota Johnson’s portrayal of Madame Web. Madame Web is the most recent addition to Sony’s Marvel movies, exploring branches of Spider-Man-related characters. While their latest release Morbius has been poorly received, audiences are still holding onto the hope that this film will be better due to the success of Sony’s other Marvel projects like Venom.
In typical Marvel fashion, little is known about the actor’s casting, however, fans have many theories about who Sweeney will be playing. Amongst the most popular theories is Black Cat (Felicia Hardy). The character may sound familiar to fans of the comics as she is an established supporting character in Marvel's Spider-Man series. Black Cat was also seen in several Spider-Man cartoons and the PS4 video game. The character has played various different roles throughout her comic book history, ranging from an enemy, ally, and love interest for Spider-Man.
