Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 is not an easy game. Even getting to your first boss can take multiple hours - let alone your second. What’s worse, these two bosses are disturbingly close to the start of the game. You have likely been brutally murdered by regular enemies and spiked floor on repeat this whole time.

All that is behind you now, as you have conquered the Asylum twice, and you are face to face with the dreaded Lobotomist. A mere man with a penchant for brain surgery, experimentation, explosives, and rifles. If he sounds like a chap with plenty of talents, and if that scares you, then you are on the right track.
Despite the horrors, the Lobotomist could theoretically inflict if he got his hands on you, his actual attack pattern is incredibly simple - as was the case with the Possessed Nurse. Lobotomist has one form of attack, and they will do this on repeat until someone dies - ideally you.
Lobotomist has a rifle, and he will fire that rifle in two ways - single shot, or double shot. Sometimes he will combine them to do a single shot into a double shot with a brief gap, but the general idea is that he will shoot you.
His projectiles move very quickly, they deal a lot of damage, and more importantly, they have incredible range. Lobotomist can fire at you from anywhere in the boss arena - even off-screen. Not only that, but the animation that plays when he fires is difficult to spot in the chaos, so dodging is much harder than usual.
Topping it all off is how his projectiles interact with you. When you are hit, you are knocked back and briefly slowed. This might not seem like an issue at first, but in practice, this is devastating. Lobotomist out-ranges most
