Love Is Blind season 2 star Shaina Hurley's iconic squint quickly became a running joke amongst fans and now she's finally giving them an explanation as to why she can't help it. Shaina appeared on Love Is Blind season 2, and found an instant connection with contestant Shayne Jansen. Though the feelings were mutual, Shayne was caught in a bit of a love triangle as he was also talking to Natalie Lee. After some conversations and fights, with both of the women, Shayne asked Natalie to be his girlfriend in an effort to show her she was the only person for him. This upset Shaina, who effectively ended their relationship and began focusing on her connection with another contestant, Kyle Abrams. Natalie accepted a proposal from Shayne, and Shaina begrudgingly accepted a proposal from Kyle, but the drama wasn't over yet.

While Shayne and Natalie were able to move on and focus on their own relationship, Shaina couldn't let the thought of Shayne go. On top of that, it was clear from the moment they met, Shaina was not really invested in Kyle. The couple only lasted another episode before officially breaking up, with Shaina citing their religious differences as the main reason. Though she later admitted her feelings for Shayne played a part in it. In a rather confrontational scene, Shaina met up with Shayne at a beach party to give it another go, something Shayne was no longer interested in given his engagement to Natalie, essentially ending Shaina's time on Love Is Blind. Despite not being featured on the show for the entire season, Shaina's actions, especially one action, still got people talking.
