Yagami is out of town and Kaito is left to take on the remaining work at the Yagami Detective Agency. Everything changes when Kaito is offered a case with a lucrative reward: 20-million yen to find a CEO’s missing wife. Things take a twist when it’s revealed that the missing person in question is Kaito’s ex-lover, Mikiko.
Left to put back together the pieces of his past and discover the fate of a woman presumed dead, Kaito won’t stop until he’s cracked the case for good.A great expansion that I ended up enjoying much more than i was expecting. The fighting styles are essentially Kiryus with some minor tweaks but it was fun being able to use his styles again in the new series. While the story takes alot from a previous Yakuza game, it still managed to pull me in.
And it added another dimension to Kaito's character making him feel like more than a side kick. Overall had a great time with the expansion and while 30 bucks is a bit much for it, if you're a Yakuza fan then I don't think you'll be disappointed.A great right knit story excelling Kaito to the forefront while also telling us more about his backstory.
