According to an extensive post on Steam, Lost Ark's North American servers were set to open at 9 AM PT today. Pre-downloads have been available since February 7. Even though the game isn't officially live, Lost Ark is already setting records for concurrent players on Steam with over 500,000 peak concurrent players thanks to early access granted through the Founders Pack.
One of the most hotly anticipated games of a very packed February, Lost Ark brings the already successful Korean MMORPG to North America, Oceania, and Europe today. The game combines MMO elements with isometric ARPG gameplay made popular by titles like Diablo 3 and Torchlight. The worldwide launch also brings several quality-of-life updates and even a Korean voice pack if players wish to experience the game in its native language.
Lost Ark noted this delay should hopefully be for only a few hours. We'll be sure to update this story with further announcements.
