Loki season 2 will reportedly begin filming this summer in England. TheThor spinoff series starring the God of Mischief was the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first deep dive into the multiverse, a key concept driving multiple films and shows in Phase 4, including Spider-Man: No Way Home. Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, finds himself trapped within the headquarters of the Time Variance Authority (TVA), a group tasked with maintaining the order of time. With the help of Agent Mobius (Owen Wilson), Loki discovers alternate versions of his identity, including a female counterpart, Sylvie (Sophie Di Martino).
The show's finale had Loki and Sylvie coming face-to-face with the creator of the TVA, a character dubbed He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors). Their subsequent face-off eventually led to the breaking of the Sacred Timeline, sending the multiverse into disarray. Loki season 1 then ended on a cliffhanger, and a post-credits scene showed the titular character's case file, stamped with the words, "Loki will return in season 2."

Now, it appears season 2 is getting ready to begin production. While neither Disney nor Marvel Studios have made official announcements, filming will reportedly begin this summer at Pinewood Studios in the United Kingdom, according to casting call website and magazine Backstage. The site also reports that casting "is likely to be led again by Sarah Finn and Krista Husar, with Jacqueline Gallagher, Gregory Korn, and Lory Shaye."
