Eugene Cordero, who played a rather small role in the first season of Marvel Studios' Loki, will reportedly play a much bigger role in season 2 of the hit Disney Plus series. It seems as though Kang the Conqueror rising to prominence isn't the only substantial change this new timeline will be seeing.
Cordero played Casey, a rather affable employee of the Time Variance Authority (TVA) who endeared himself to viewers pretty much right away. Loki (Tom Hiddleston) encountered him early on, when he noticed the TVA pencil pusher was using the all-powerful Infinity Stones as paperweights. While the character himself may have been a one-off in the first season, it looks like he got a good enough reception from audiences to warrant a return in a more substantial way.

Deadline reports that Cordero will now serve as a series regular in season 2, which will certainly make plenty of fans happy as well as inspire some speculation as to how he'll fit in the story. The Filipino American actor certainly has a way of leaving his mark wherever he appears. But Loki isn't his only claim to fame. In fact, he's been enjoying a pretty steady stream of hits since even before this series began.
Many will remember Cordero as Pillboi, the equally chaotic friend to Manny Jacinto's Jason in The Good Place, where the 2 buddies stole the show every time they were together in flashbacks or otherwise. But others might have missed his appearance in the season 1 episode «Sanctuary» of The Mandalorian where he played one of the villagers who pleaded for Din Djarin's help in defending their small fishing town against raiders.
