Lifesize Clawstriders have started popping up around the world to advertise Horizon Forbidden West.
Horizon Forbidden West is finally upon us and besides introducing a whole new area of the world to Aloy and the players, it's also introducing a whole host of new machines to go up against and, hopefully, Override. One such machine is the Clawstrider, a robot that resembles a small dinosaur and has talons on each of its limbs.

If the Clawstrider didn't already sound cool enough, how about a lifesize statue of it? To help celebrate the launch of the Forbidden West, Sony has started putting up lifesize statues of the Clawstrider in different locations around the world. Sony first showed off the Clawstrider as appearing in New York, where it was seen in Times Square next to a cosplayer of Aloy.
It seems that there's more than one Clawstrider to be found, though. Sony later shared a video of the same statue in Embarcadero Plaza in San Francisco. Horizon fans have taken to sharing videos of the statue in the wild, with some of the known locations so far including Australia, Toronto, and London. The PlayStation Australia Twitter account also shared that taking a selfie with the statue and sharing it on social media will get you the chance to win a replica of Aloy's spear, or a Forbidden West collector's edition, although this seems to just be for Australia.
The statue itself is incredibly impressive and has all of the details of the in-game Clawstrider. Interestingly, the statue also has a small plaque that has all of the buttons that can be found on the PlayStation controller. The code doesn't appear to do anything, so it's likely just a
