The arrival of a brand new life-sized Good Guy Doll from the Child's Play film franchise should bring plenty of holiday fear this December. As one of the most successful slasher film series to date, Child's Play was first released in 1988 and centered around a single mother (Catherine Hicks) who unwittingly buys a possessed doll named Chucky for her son Andy (Alex Vincent). The original film spawned six sequels and a reboot over the course of the ensuing 30 years. As a result, Chucky has become one of the most recognizable faces in horror.
Last year, original creator Don Mancini successfully reintroduced Chucky into pop culture with Chucky: The TV Series, which was very well received by fans and critics. With talk about Chucky hotter than ever, Trick or Treat Studios has now officially launched the pre-sale for an exciting new tie-in doll. Mega-fans looking to add to their horror merchandise collections now have the chance, but it will cost them.
