Lego has teased plans to release a range of Donkey Kong sets.
The company first announced plans to introduce Donkey Kong to its Super Mario universe last month.
At the time, it confirmed that a Donkey Kong figure will launch this summer, but it wasn’t clear if it would be accompanied by a jungle set or something similar.
“We can’t wait to show you the new additions to the world of Lego Super Mario!” Lego said today in a tweet which included the teaser video below.
“There’s a Kong in every kid,” the advert says as it shows off other Kong characters including Diddy, Cranky and Funky.
“Each set is sold separately,” reads a message at the end of the video.

The Kong family played a prominent role in the recently released Super Mario Bros. Movie, which has been a big hit at the box office.
According to the latest reports, its third weekend was Universal’s highest ever in the US, and it’swell on course to generate over $1 billion globally.
Speaking to Japanese press ahead of the movie’s debut in Nintendo‘s home country this week, Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto discussed its performance and the reception from critics, which he acknowledged had been mixed.
“I did have a level of expectations that this movie would also do well [like the Super Nintendo World theme park], but I was very surprised that it went beyond what I could have imagined when it finally came out,” he said, translated by VGC contributor Robert Sephazon.
“You need some luck to achieve this level of success for a film,” he added. “While many foreign critics have given the movie relatively low ratings, I think that also contributed to the movie’s notoriety and buzz.”
