The creative director for the critically acclaimed The Last of Us wasted no words in addressing the leak of its PS5/PC remake ahead of the Summer Game Fest. An early listing for The Last of Us Part 1 leaked on the official Playstation Direct website and was reported via ResetEra hours before the show premiered. 2013’s The Last of Us was one of Naughty Dog’s most critically acclaimed games released for the Playstation 3. The game wove a bittersweet tale of a pair of dystopian survivors, Joel and Ellie, as they navigated a brutal post-apocalyptic America in the wake of a terrible infection. The Last of Us was lauded as an achievement in game development and storytelling and received many awards and honorifics.
