Lara Croft is one of those characters that’s quite comfortable appearing anywhere, whether it’s Fortnite or Dead by Daylight. It’s not massively surprising to see the buxom British adventurer appear in Battle Royale game Naraka: Bladepoint, then, where she’ll feature as an alternative skin for existing character Matari.
“Matari will don an outfit inspired by the iconic adventurer Lara Croft in this exciting new collaboration, as well as weapon cosmetics like Lara’s trusty Compound Bow and Climbing Axe arriving in-game on 28th August,” the blurb reveals. “The collaboration will uniquely blend both Eastern and Western culture and showcase the spirit of exploration and survival shared by the two adventurers, Matari and Lara Croft.”
A new hope
The summary continues: “The addition of these exciting new weapon cosmetics, Lara Croft’s Compound Bow and Climbing Axe, will bring players a sense of her adventurous spirit and archery expertise. Alongside the various cosmetics, this collaborative event will also include Tomb Raider-themed Background and Base customisations in-game. There will be a Tomb Raider English Voice pack to truly enhance players’ immersive experience.”
