The Durian Valleyin Kao The Kangaroo is the first stage where you will encounter this world's host of enemies: mischievous monkeys. This stage is surrounded by water-based pitfalls. It also uses shallow water to its advantage to conceal crystals. Whether you are dodging barrels, sliding down shoots, or destroying a juice production facility, this is a stage that has a lot going on.

If you aren't being eagle-eyed, it is likely you will miss the letter A. Speaking of missable collectibles, there is at least one crystal that you will only have one chance to grab while playing through this stage. Lucky for you, this guide will help prepare you.
You will start this level off on a raft. Immediately jump off of it. There is a crystal (1/13) in the water. After you climb across the suspended nets using your ears, there will be a little island to your left with a crystal (2/13) on it, platform over to it. Now, head back and punch the brazier with your fire fist. This will activate the platforms. Once the platforms are active, take a right. This is where you'll grab this stage's lone scroll (1/1).
Continue platforming along this path. You will encounter your next crystal (3/13), but watch out, as there is a sneaky vine next to it. Now, deal with the monkeys by deflecting their projectiles back at them, then jump on the trampoline. It will take you to the letter K. After that, jump on another trampoline to get back onto the main path.
