Capcom has released a new walkout video for Street Fighter 6, giving us a quick glimpse of the recently revealed World Warriors Juri and Kimberly as they make their way to the field of battle. The intro vid-cum-loading screen will follow the two selected fighters as they step into the ring accompanied by some characterful animations and SF6‘s dopey, but adorable, “Game Face” staredown screen.
In the clip, we see the Korean taekwondo expert and former assassin Juri as she “chats mad shit”, (Flanx’s words), to her opponent. Newcomer Kimberly has no time for such mind games, instead taking the moment to hype up the crowd and perform some fancy ninja acrobatics. In a cute tough, Kimberly overshoots the camera and has to awkwardly scurry back into shot. That’s fun.

It’s a weird old mechanic, that’s for sure, but I’ll absolutely take it all over Street Fighter V‘s charisma-free presentation style. It will be fun to see all of the SF6 roster interact in such a fashion, though I imagine, for the most part, Juri is going to be going ignored by her opposition for most of these walkouts.
