What many are holding out for is any information on the whereabouts of The Elder Scrolls 6, but in the meantime, someone has jokingly modded Morrowind to give their interpretation of the next entry in the Bethesda series. While Skyrim is the most successful Elder Scrolls game, the third installment is considered a classic by many, representing the last true role-playing experience from the developer before the franchise shifted more towards the action-RPG genre.
Despite its age, Morrowind is still being modded, with a recent one using AI to implement full voice acting to the dated release. It has aged significantly over the past two decades, but that doesn't undercut its importance. Not only was it a visual leap compared to 1996's The Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall, but it was also a triumph for consoles at the time of its release, as no other game of this magnitude could possibly hope to be compatible with the likes of the OG Xbox until TES3 arrived on the scene.

Now someone is offering a brief window into the future with a Morrowind mod that attempts its own take on The Elder Scrolls 6. As spotted by PC Gamer, Nexus Mods user stupidcatgirl is going for something a little silly, as their modification is described as being the next installment in the series. They do specify that this meant not meant to be taken seriously, with a message saying that this is just another one of their «gag mods.» Of course, a quick look at some of the images shows that this is not meant to be TES6 at all.
