Hollywood star and WWE legend John Cena is coming to Fortnite as the battle royale shooter's next crossover cosmetic. The entertainment icon is a 16-time world record wrestling champion and has appeared in blockbusters like Bumblebee and The Suicide Squad. Earlier this year a Fortnite skin of John Cena as Peacemaker supposedly leaked, but now Epic Games has added the WWE Championship legend himself.
Due to his status as a pop culture icon, John Cena has appeared in a surprising number of video games. Since 2003 he has been a staple of WWE wrestling titles, including 2020's WWE 2K Battlegrounds and the mobile game WWE Mayhem. Cena's fame has also led to appearances in more unique spinoff games, like the free-to-play side scrolling action game The King of Fighters Allstar. Outside of official appearances, fans have also added John Cena to appear in various other games like Mortal Kombat 11 and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. John Cena appeared in WWE 2K22 just this year, and now the invisible warrior is making his way to a whole new ring.

A new Epic Games blog post and Fortnite Twitter post announce that the legendary John Cena will be available in the game's Item Shop starting July 28. While some may have trouble seeing him, the 16-time WWE champion actually comes in two styles: clothed Entrance Gear and shirtless Ring Gear. The cosmetic outfits perfectly capture John Cena's confident energy, though sadly they won't turn players invisible. Fortnite's John Cena Set will also include WWE Championship Title Back Bling, the Five Digit Slapper Pickaxe and the wrestler's iconic U Can't C Me Emote when it arrives on July 28.
