Warning! Spoilers for The Variants by Marvel Comics
In a new Marvel Comics series, Jessica Jones will team up with some of her variants from across the Multiverse. Marvel announced a new miniseries from Gail Simone and Phil Noto called The Variants, where an investigation from Jones will lead directly into the path of meeting some of her variants from different realities. The Variants will see Jessica reluctantly working alongside her variants to solve a greater mystery.
Most Marvel Comics readers are familiar with the current version of Jessica Jones, a strong, guarded woman with incredible strength who doesn't like to work with others. However, Jones first tried being a more traditional superhero after gaining her powers. Originally known as Jewel, she took a more heroic approach with her abilities before the Purple Man mind-controlled and tortured her. After escaping, she ditched her superhero costume and became a more grounded hero, running her own detective agency, Alias Investigations. In The Variants, Jones will meet different versions of herself, showing alternate paths she could have taken instead as a hero.
