Jason Blum was recently asked about the possibility of Happy Death Day 3, something that fans of the franchise will be curious to hear about. In the first two movies, Jessica Rothe played Tree Gelman, a college student who finds herself in a time loop of the day of her death. Happy Death Day was released in 2017 and the sequel, Happy Death Day 2U came out in 2019. The first film grossed $125,479,266 worldwide and the sequel grossed $64,600,152 worldwide. The sequel continues the questions surrounding the killer Babyface, who wears a black cloak and a plastic mask that looks like a baby, and Tree finds herself in another dimension. The sequel delves more into the conventions of time travel.
