Four years after being accused of sexually inappropriate behavior, James Franco has spoken publicly for the first time about the allegations. Franco first rose to prominence on the cult teen series, Freaks and Geeks. He would then take on roles in the original Spider-Man trilogy, Milk, Eat Pray Love, Spring Breakers, and The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, among many other projects. For his performance in 127 Hours, Franco was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor.

Zack Snyder revealed new cast members brought onto his upcoming Netflix film Rebel Moon. The film was initially pitched as a part of the Star Wars franchise, but when that did not go anywhere, it was re-envisioned as a sci-fi tv series. When that didn't work out, the concept was re-envisioned again, this time as a Netflix original movie with Zack Snyder as director and co-writer and Sofia Boutella cast in the leading role.
