The Disney Plus original series Ironheart has added a brand-new actor to its growing cast in the form of newcomer Harper Anthony.
News of Marvel Studios' Ironheart surfaced during Disney's 2020 Investor Day presentation, and the show will center around Riri Williams, an inventor who constructs her own piece of suited armor to follow in the emblematic footsteps of Tony Stark's Iron Man. The character debuted in 2016, emerging from writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Mike Deodato. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige announced that Dominique Throne would be suiting up as the breakout teenage genius, who will make her first appearance in the MCU in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which Throne finished shooting in March. It's unknown what Throne's role in the highly-awaited sequel will be, but it looks like the launching pad for the eventual Disney Plus series.
