The iQOO Neo 6 is coming to India and we now have clear information on what this device has to offer. iQOO has revealed the choice of chipset and other basic specs of the phone, and it seems to be a rebranded variant of another Neo series device from China. The iQOO Neo 6 is now confirmed to get the Snapdragon 870 chipset, which was already doing duty on last year's iQOO 7. The Snapdragon 870 is now essentially over a year old and offers the same kind of performance as the Snapdragon 865 from the year 2020.
Other than the chipset, the iQOO Neo 6 is also confirmed to get the 80W fast charging solution. This could make it among the fastest charging phones if iQOO prices it right. Currently, most Snapdragon 870 phones sell for almost Rs. 30,000. Considering the Snapdragon 888 toting iQOO 9 SE starts at Rs. 33,990 in India, we expect the iQOO Neo 6 to have a sub- ₹30,000 pricing, even though our source claims a Rs. 30,000-35,000 segment.
The iQOO Neo 6 is currently offered in China in two variants with varying levels of specifications. You get the option to choose between the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 on the iQOO Neo 6 and the Snapdragon 888 on the iQOO Neo 6 SE. It is the Indian variant only that is getting the Snapdragon 870 chip.
Rest of the features and even the design are expected to remain unchanged. Hence, the phone could be expected to offer a 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. A 4700mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging could power the phone. The rear camera setup consists of a 64MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP third camera. The front camera will come with a 16MP camera sensor.
