While the world is busy talking about iPhone 14 and iOS 16, Apple has done something unexpected. There is a very rare iOS 12 update that has been rolled out just ahead of the Apple ‘Far Out' event and you should not ignore it. The update brings an important security fix. It implies that there is a high likelihood that this vulnerability might already have been exploited by hacker groups.
Users should have received the update notification on their device, but if you missed out for any reason, you can still download and install it. For that, all you need to do is go to Settings and then enter the General menu. From there, just click on Software Update. Do note that you will need some free space in your iPhone in order to download and install the update. If your device storage is full, you will need to delete some files.
