The iPhone 14 Pro breaks cover with that wide pill cutout! Yes! That means we finally have a brand new iPhone that ditched the conventional display notch for the first time since 2017's iPhone X. Unlike the iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Pro comes in four storage variants this year. Prices start at $999 for the base 128GB variant while the 256GB variant is there for those want more. You can also get it with 512GB storage and the range topping 1TB variant. The same storage options apply for the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which starts at $1,099 for the 128GB version. The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max come in a new shade of Deep Purple alongside the usual Silver, Gold, and Space Black.

The iPhone 14 Pro brings the much awaited change on the iPhone lineup – the removal of the notch. With the new display, the notch has been removed and in its place lies a wide cutout shaped like a pill. Apple calls its the Dynamic island. The UI forms around the dynamic island. It resembles the appearance of the Touch Bar from the MacBook Pro 13-inch. You can even access controls of active services and Apple says it is always active, showing real-time information. This holds the front camera and the Face ID sensor.
The OLED display itself has a variable refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz, which means you can expect better power efficiency. The display has slimmer bezels this year as well. Apple promises up to 2000 nits of peak brightness.
