The iPhone 14 launch is almost here! Over the last couple of months, the spike in the rate of leaks and rumours has shown what the next iPhone 14 series might consist of. From its design, and performance, to cameras - we are aware of a lot. Along with these, there have been a number of leaks about iPhone 14 price, one of the most hotly debated topics about the upcoming phone. Earlier, some reports touted that iPhone 14 may get a price hike of $100 while a few even suggested a $150 price.
The previous leak by tipster Anthony (@TheGalox_) had suggested the starting price for the standard iPhone 14 and the new iPhone 14 Max or Plus may be $799 and $899; $1,099 for the iPhone 14 Pro and $1,199 will be the initial retail price of the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The reason behind the price hike remained the said upgrades, especially for the iPhone 14 ‘Pro' models. However, there is a possibility that Apple may surprise you on the launch day of the iPhone 14. Here's how.
In the latest development, a new report by a market research firm, TrendForce suggested that Apple may not adopt the said $100 price hike for iPhone 14 series. In fact, it is expected to be $50 cheaper than rumoured! The report explained, “the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are among four new models to be upgraded to the A16 (TSMC 4nm) processor. Upgrades such as initial starting memory capacity increasing to LPDDR5 6GB and 256GB, primary camera moving up to 48 million, Face ID Design changes, etc., are expected to raise starting prices.”
However, due to the pressure from rising global inflation and foreign exchange rates, Apple is expected to set a more cautious pricing range for the upcoming iPhone 14 series so as not to affect its sales performance, the report suggested.
