Instagram Chronological feed is finally rolling out for all users. The Meta owned instant messaging app has brought back the Chronological feed a couple of days ago giving users more choice and control over what they see. This feature allows users to view posts as per their interest and favorites. Earlier, Instagram used to mix the recent posts with older ones, which made it difficult to guess which posts are actually new. But now, users can switch to the chronological feed. Instagram has actually added two new chronological feeds - Following and Favourites. They allow users to filter posts and accounts from which they want to see future posts from. Upon selecting Following, users will see posts from all the accounts they follow in chronological order just the way when Instagram was first launched.
On the other hand, Favorites feed allows users to add up to 50 accounts and follow their posts in chronological order. However, you can add only those accounts which you are already following.
No, as of now chronological feed can’t be set as the default feed on Instagram. You will have to switch to it manually. Here’s a step by step by guide to do so.
