Ever since Nintendo and Game Freak released the first Pokemon titles back in 1996, many fans of the series have speculated how the older games could've looked with today's technology. Recently, one Pokemon fan anticipating the launch of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has created a concept video showing what the Nintendo Switch title might have looked like using Pokemon Red and Blue concept art in its open world.
Twitter user Pokeyugami recently posted a video in the style of the concept art used for Pokemon Red and Blue that shares some similarities with another Pokemon video they made but is centered on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Taking some cues from the existing Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trailers, Pokeyugami has included revealed Gen 9 Pokemon like Fuecoco, Smoliv, and Sprigatito. Just like their last video, Pokeyugami's Pokemon Scarlet and Violet video also shows the Gen 1 version of Pikachu interacting with one Smoliv, while another Smoliv stands alone in the field.

Pokeyugami's Pokemon Scarlet and Violet clip begins by showing a schoolboy Pokemon trainer that resembles the one teased in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trailers. The Pokemon trainer stands in front of an ocean next to their chosen starter Pokemon Fuecoco while tossing a Poke Ball up and down in a region that looks remarkably similar to the landscape of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The user interface appears in Pokeyugami's video as the Pokemon trainer embarks on their journey, showing the bag, town map, and Pokedex in one corner and important items in the other, just like Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
As Pokeyugami's Pokemon Scarlet and Violet clip proceeds, the two aforementioned Smoliv and solo Pikachu come into view
