The Incredible Hulk is now a gun in Marvel Comics, and the weapon makes a grand debut in the pages of Punisher #1. Bruce Banner has desperately tried to contain and control his power, doing his utmost to prevent the energies of the Hulk from falling into the wrong hands. Marvel reveals that plan has failed miserably, as the company introduces the violent and mysterious «Banner Cannon» sold by the Punisher's new, equally mysterious, enemies.
The Hulk's power is as coveted as the Iron Man suits of Tony Stark; plenty of villains (and even some heroes) want to harness Banner's power for their own ends. Case in point is General «Thunderbolt» Ross, who hatched plenty of plans to capture the Hulk; his schemes usually failed, though he eventually became the Red Hulk later on after Bruce Banner died (though he eventually made a full recovery).

The Punisher has just began a new chapter in his life; he's employed by the Hand and has new weapons and even a new logo that replaces his iconic skull symbol on his chest. He also has new enemies: the Apostles, a group of suited gentlemen wearing Greek Hoplite helmets who devote their entire lives to shipping and manufacturing arms, both standard and exotic. «Bless the war,» goes their rallying cry, as a group loads thirty cases of Banner Cannons. «Gamma-powered minigun, like if the Hulk was a machine gun.» Hydra, anti-Wakandan warlords, and Hate-Monger all have orders for these weapons.
In recent years, the Hulk's energies have been contained in new and fascinating ways. The current Hulk storyline shows a level of control of Hulk's power unprecedented in comics before. Bruce
