When it comes to the cast of heroes players can unlock in King Arthur: Knight's Tale, few characters come close to the cultural recognition of the valiant Sir Lancelot. Renowned knight of the round table, only the likes of King Arthur or Merlin are more known in the Arthurian mythos. However, players wishing to recruit Sir Lancelot into Sir Mordred's retinue will not be disappointed in his performance on the battlefield.
As players begin their journey as Sir Mordred in King Arthur: Knight's Tale, they will be quickly introduced to the game's morality system. As the player chooses different actions and choices throughout the game, they will steer the reincarnated Sir Mordred to Righteousness or down a Tyrannical path. When it comes to gameplay, Righteous players will have a more efficient Camelot. In contrast, Tyrannical players will gain more resources to use to reconstruct and upgrade the famous castle. But upgrades to Camelot in King Arthur: Knight's Tale aren't the only effects of the morality system. Companion loyalty is also tied to this stat, as heroes of opposing morality or religion of Sir Mordred will lose loyalty with the new Leader of Camelot.

While most heroes have an alignment that determines their loyalty, a few select heroes in King Arthur: Knight's Tale are locked behind specific values in the alignment system. Unfortunately, the powerful Sir Lancelot is one of those heroes locked behind the Righteous path. Therefore, not only will players need a high Righteousness to keep Sir Lancelot loyal and happy, but players also won't even have the chance to recruit the knight without specific dedication towards the Righteous path for Camelot.
