In , players will come face-to-face with several aggressive bosses who must be beaten to obtain unique items and special abilities. Each chapter features new bosses to defeat in a quest to retrieve lost relics. Within the first chapter isthe boss Lingxuzi, a wolf-like Yaoguai King. His in-game description reads,
Lingxuzi is an aggressive foe,using his claws and teeth to attack. His large size and aggressive nature allow him to quickly gain ground on his opponents with a single jump. He’s more aggressive than other bosses, so keeping alert is a must when battling Lingxuzi.

Lingxuzi is located within the Forest of Wolves, near the Guanyin Shrine. Head straight from the Shrine, making your way past a pack of wolves. On the left will be an area where you can initiate a fight with the mini-boss Wandering Wight.
After beating this mini-boss, continue through a small cave to a wooden path. Follow the path to reach some enemies outside the Shrine. You can either fight or ignore these enemies, then head up the stairs and activate the Shrine. Enter through the door and begin your fight with Lingxuzi.
Beating the chapter one boss, Lingxuzi, shouldn’t be too difficult. He has six attacks, which are easy enough to get down. Fortunately, his attacks aren’t too damage-heavy. Spend some time getting used to how he attacks to better prepare to take him down. Feel free to craft some medicine to take along, too.
As noted in the game, once you've passed through the gate, there’s no turning back, so make sure you're prepared for battle.
