When it comes to the unexpected, the Borderlands series takes a big piece of the cake. From a standard sci-fi shooter affair, the game evolved into an RPG genre with a distinctive cel-shaded art style and surprisingly colorful writing.

Though the most recent release in the series is Borderlands 3 at the time of writing, a spin-off title known as Tales From The Borderlands got a fair amount of attention. Created by the former Telltale games, it's an episodic story that includes a cast of new characters while incorporating recognizable favorites from the other games. Though it's narrative in nature, it still has all the feeling and humor of the universe it's based on.
Being a narrative episodic adventure, Tales From The Borderlands moves at a pretty slow pace. If you're not a fan of lingering around set-pieces and simply want to get the story rolling, How To Beat claims you can finish it in 10 and a half hours.
Much of the game is straightforward in where you need to go, what you need to do, and who you need to talk to in order to move the plot along. The game is also quite generous with its sequences giving you plenty of time for reactions and inputs, so you won't have to repeat the same segments much.
The only achievements that you can earn involve completing the chapters and episodes, so you'll get each one from just playing the game through to the end. The only secret comes in the last episode where you need to choose a team to pilot Gortys in order to fight the Traveler involving a mystery recruit.
