A new House of Darkness movie trailer reveals a gothic horror movie starring Justin Long (Die Hard 4) and Kate Bosworth (Superman Returns) that reimagines Bram Stoker's Dracula. Written and directed by Neil LaBute, the story of House of Darkness revolves around a young man who after meeting a woman at a local bar, drives her home to her secluded estate. While he hopes that his new, mysterious date turns into another casual hookup, things take a turn for the worse when their flirtation turns sinister. Gia Crovatin and Lucy Walters also appear in supporting roles.
Now, Saban Films releases an official House of Darkness trailer, putting the spotlight on Long as he finds himself in a deadly situation. The trailer begins with Long and Bosworth's characters sitting in front of a fireplace and "telling each other stories." The events that led them to where they are now are then recounted, showing that he had given her a ride home after she was left stranded at a bar. However, when things begin to get physical between the pair, it turns out that they aren't alone in the house. The trailer ends with Long tied to a chair, followed by an eerie shot of a pile of men's shoes. Check out the full trailer below:
