A video recently shared on theHorizon subreddit provides a special tip for Horizon Forbidden West's frustrating Thunderjaws. Many players have had a rough time with Thunderjaws, particularly on harder difficulties, due to the enemy's lasers. The Thunderjaw ejects a large number of drone-like machines that each target Aloy with a laser that follows her as she moves around. The video creator has a simple solution for the problem — shooting the small laser drones.

It may seem intuitive, but in the middle of combat against a giant lumbering Thunderjaw, it's easy to think that the laser drones it fires are immune to damage and untargetable. That's not so, however. The video shows Aloy quickly taking aim at the Thunderjaw drones with her bow and causing them to explode with a simple arrow. Since the drones, once fired by the Thunderjaw, come to a complete stop in the air, it's easy for Aloy to target them even as she runs from the lasers.
