The embargo for Horizon Forbidden West reviews has finally lifted, and you can breathe easy now because it looks like the first triple-A GOTY-contender is here.
TheGamer-in-Chief Stacey Henley enjoyed Forbidden West, although she believes there is not too much here besides a bigger Horizon Zero Dawn. In her four-star review, Henley wrote: "Forbidden West is fun and it's pretty, but with so many open-world titles coming along since Zero Dawn, I hoped the series might get better, not just bigger." It's a safe bet to assume most fans will be pleased with such an outcome, but Forbidden West can't overcome the major faults of the original like a weak story, and it lacks substance or fresh ideas.
