There are six Tallnecks to override in Horizon Forbidden West including a hidden one in Salt Bite. Although only five Tallnecks appear on the map initially, there's a final one that requires players to go to the Cauldron IOTA to override it. In order to clear all of the fog clouding the map, players will need to override all six Tallnecks, so completing the one in Salt Bite is essential for anyone that wants a full map to view. There's also a trophy for overriding all six of the Tallnecks in Horizon Forbidden West.
To override any Tallneck, Aloy will need to reach the top of its head. For most of these machines, overriding them will involve a lot of climbing or waiting until the Sunwing mount is unlocked. The Sunwing mount can be obtained after completing the Cauldron GEMINI. However, the Salt Bite Tallneck doesn't require a mount to override. Instead, players will need to find and clear the Cauldron IOTA to override the Salt Bite Tallneck in Horizon Forbidden West.

The Cauldron IOTA in Horizon Forbidden West can be found northwest of The Base and north of Scalding Spear. The front entrance is blocked, so Aloy must find another way in. Further northwest from the entrance, there's a small ravine that leads to an alternate route into the Cauldron IOTA. There are a few Tracker Burrowers to defeat before entering, then players will need to complete the Cauldron to override the Horizon Forbidden West Tallneck inside.
The Cauldron IOTA has a few machines to defeat including some Apex Burrowers, a Spikesnout, and a Rollerback as the boss. Some of the battles might give players trouble, especially if they're not the recommended level of 22 or higher.
