Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson has revealed she is considering going under the knife to shed weight. Alana has come a long way since childhood. She grew up in front of viewers' eyes thanks to her appearance on the sassy Toddlers and Tiaras and starring in her own show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. However, despite always being in the public eye, Alana found a way to manage the scrutiny and live like a normal teenager. The 16-year-old has done an excellent job of juggling the rigors of reality television with school, family, and being in a relationship.
Alana usually generates attention with her activities. Fans observed this about the teenager when she debuted her relationship with Dralin Carswell, who is four years older than her. Although Alana received backlash for dating the 20-year-old, she continued with the relationship. Recently, Alana was in the news again, but this time not because of her love life. Instead, there were reports that Mama June's youngest daughter was considering undergoing weight-loss surgery after her 17th birthday in August. According to the reports, a Queens, New York doctor will perform a suture sculpt endoscopic sleeve procedure on Alana. The procedure will reportedly cost $13,000 and reduce Alana's weight from 275 to 150 pounds.
