Hogwarts Legacy has received just one update since launch, aimed at improving the game's performance on stability on the PC and Xbox platforms specifically, though more updates are certainly on the way.
Hogwarts Legacy has a ton of potential for DLC, though Avalanche Software has yet to reveal any plans it might have when it comes to expanding the game. With how vast the Harry Potter universe is, there are a lot of directions that Hogwarts Legacy could go in when it comes to post-launch content.

While most fans may be more interested in substantial DLC that expands on the Hogwarts Legacy experience, others may be interested in quality of life improvements that make the game better to play. Reddit user Legatto recently shared their list of ideas for HogwartS Legacy quality of life improvements in a post that garnered 1.4 thousand upvotes. Their suggestions include an option to sell or buy all, automatic Alohomora that skips the lock-picking mini-game, and much more.
Some of the other suggestions made by Legatto include a chance to how players pet cats in Hogwarts Legacy so it isn't a cutscene every time, custom markers for the open world, and the ability to navigate the menu with the d-pad and not just by using the cursor. The Hogwarts Legacy Field Guide serves as the game's menu system, and there have been some complaints that it's slower to navigate than menus in other games because of its use of a cursor.
