After four years of being a PlayStation exclusive, Marvel's Spider-Man is no longer restricted to the console. With Spider-Man Remastered now on PC, this opened the floodgates for many players to try modding the game. This PC port saw mods from several creators adding in various suits for Spider-Man, many being based on different versions of the character over the years, with one modder even adding the Spider-Man from Neversoft's PS1 title into this game. While new suits are to be expected, several new characters have also been modded to replace Spider-Man.
There have been so many mods that have replaced the webhead with some fitting and not-so-fitting choices. There are no limits to these mods, including ones that replaced Spider-Man with Daredevil, CJ from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and more. One of the most hilarious choices however is from TangoTeds, who has replaced the web-slinger with the most iconic Muppet of all time, Kermit the Frog.
Spider-Man Remastered on PC Breaks Sales Record
In this Spider-Man mod, Kermit replaces the game's default costume, the Advanced Suit. Meaning as soon as the game boots up, players can start kicking around bad guys as the mean green frog. This gives the ridiculous but ultimately hilarious sight of Kermit using Spider-Man's powers to zip around New York, throw manhole covers at enemies, and even engage in some martial arts to stop crime. This mod can be downloaded off of NexusMods, and only needs the Spider-Man PC Modding Tool in order to install it.
