Since its release back in October of last year, Far Cry 6 has gained a significant amount of popularity. With its beautiful sweeping environments, a wide variance in weaponry and methods of approach, and a memorable storyline, Far Cry 6 is certainly an ambitious title. Although, as is the case with most ambitious open-world games, Far Cry 6 isn't bereft of any technical drawbacks.
The advent of the seventh console generation allowed development studios to provide content updates and patches more immediately, as bugs and glitches have become more and more commonplace within the video game industry. Even technically impressive games like God of War have glitches that inevitably get addressed. However, in the matter of Far Cry 6, this most recent glitch occurred during the middle of a cutscene.
Far Cry 6 Update Adds Rambo DLC to the Game
A Reddit user named CortezOnline noticed that Dani Rojas' lips were pursed during an entire cutscene. While it's not as wacky or out of place as some of the glitches that have occurred in Cyberpunk 2077, for instance, it does break the composition of the scene quite a bit, to the point where the formation of Dani's lips is the only thing the player can focus on during the cutscene.
Many players believe that bugs and glitches provide an additional level of entertainment value to any given game, which certainly has some truth to it. However, glitches can ultimately devalue the experience of any given game, because when all the player can focus on are the bugs and not the core content of the game itself, it lessens the impact of what the game wants the player to experience. There's a reason why the bugs and glitches of Cyberpunk 2077 hold it back quite a bit, to this day.
