Bandai Namco and FromSoftware released Elden Ring last month and players continue to lose runes from untimely deaths, discover hidden details in the Lands Between, and follow the ghosts of other players to their death. One Elden Ring fan recently captured a moment where they died in an elevator shaft alongside a ghost when attempting to go through a wall.
Reddit user ShinichiR posted an Elden Ring clip in which they're taking one of the elevators in Volcano Manor, and they strike at a wall halfway down the shaft to try to access a concealed area. The Elden Ring player hits the brick wall with their Twinblade to no avail and continues to attack as it reaches the bottom level. Just as the elevator starts to rise again after a brief pause, another Elden Ring player's ghost spawns next to ShinichiR, and they both attempt to try the same trick but are killed in the exact same way.
Elden Ring Trick Makes Killing Skeletons Easier
ShinichiR's clip shows a scene that may be familiar to many FromSoftware fans because when the two players reach the floor that they originally intended to get off the elevator at, they both take one step off the lift and fall through a small gap as the elevator continues to rise. Elden Ring players are typically able to access a hidden room at the midway point of this Volcano Manor elevator shaft, but the players are unable to enter it. ShinichiR's video concludes with the Elden Ring player and their ghost companion falling three floors down and dying from the fall damage right next to each other.
While these two Elden Ring players are shown falling to their death at the same spot of the Volcano Manor elevator ride, it's likely that if they timed their movements more precisely rather than auto running,
