Activision has released the launch trailer for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 2.
Viewable below, it shows off some of the key features set to debut when the next free major content update for the games is released on February 15.
They include Warzone 2’s new Japanese-themed map, Ashika Island, and the return of Resurgence mode, a streamlined spin-off of the game’s regular battle royale with respawns enabled.
Alongside new DMZ missions, Warzone Season 2 will also include new features and gameplay changes, such as the return of 1v1 Gulag and an end to players dropping backpacks when they die.
Modern Warfare 2 will introduce fresh multiplayer maps, new game modes and weapons, and Ranked Play in Season 2.
The new multiplayer maps are Dome (Core Map), Zaya Observatory (Battle Map), Al Malik International (Battle Map) and Valderas Museum (Core Map).
Half a dozen new modes are on the way, headlined by Infected and Gun Game, both of which will be available at launch. So too will Grind and Hardcore, while Drop Zone, All or Nothing and One in the Chamber will follow during the season.
Raid Episode 2 will also arrive mid-season, with Price, Farah and Gaz returning in a continuation of the Modern Warfare 2 campaign.
