Intel's latest processors are built for more than just speed, with a renewed focus on enhancing video call quality on laptops that bear Intel's Evo mark. The Evo platform brand is meant to ease the shopping experience, so customers don't have to laboriously examine specifications to determine whether a PC laptop will meet their needs. Evo represents a certain standard, and Intel recently clarified how the certification has evolved to meet users' needs in 2022.

In addition, at least 4 hours of battery life should be possible with just half an hour of charge time. Also, waking from sleep must take place in under one second. These were challenging goals in 2020, and they've only gotten more challenging.
