It's barely been over a month since the third season of Barry aired its last episode, and it appears the HBO show is already back in production. Henry Winkler revealed to fans that they've already started production on the show's next season, and it looks like they're going to pick up right where the show left off.
Winkler shared a selfie of him and Bill Hader on the set of the fourth season of HBO's Barry. While Winkler is in his wardrobe as acting teacher Gene Cousineau, Hader is wearing headphones while still being bearded, much like he was throughout the duration of the show's third season. This would strongly hint that Barry season 4 will resume right where the third season ended.

In the caption, Winkler first shouted out what appears to be a Barry fan page on Twitter while putting out the caption, «FRIST DAY. Season 4.» The caption more likely than not is misspelled for «first» in this case. Hader is bearded, which would imply that Barry still hasn't shaved since the end of last season, and Hader wearing the headphones would signify that he is involved in the production behind the scenes, which would make sense since he is the director, writer, and, of course, the star of Barry.
Upon further examination, it appears that the set on which they are filming is in the house of Jim Moss, the father of Janice Moss, who was one of Barry's victims to protect himself from law enforcement. Again, it's a strong hint that the fourth season will begin right as the third season ended. The fact that Winkler is there as Cousineau may be a sign that season 4 starts in a flashback where Cousineau planned his coup with Moss to get Barry arrested to avenge Janice's murder. It could
