343 Industries has shared footage of Halo Infinite's Forge mode, introducing players to interesting new Forge tools and options. Halo fans have been anxiously waiting for 343 to deliver Halo Infinite's Forge, which has been delayed since the game's release in 2021. The recent Halo Infinite roadmap confirmed Forge is coming relatively soon. As such, 343 appears to feel confident in showcasing some of what it's been working on to Halo Infinite players now.
Forge is a key game mode of the Halo franchise going back to its introduction in Halo 3. Forge allows Halo players to create custom maps, game modes, and objects using an increasingly robust set of tools that 343 builds, creating a mini-game engine within each Halo game. Each game's Forge mode has led to increasingly impressive creations. Some of the most popular custom creations have gone on to become game modes supported by 343 in major game releases, like Grifball.

A new video released by 343 Industries showcases just some of the new features and options available in Halo Infinite's upcoming Forge mode. These include quality of life changes, like the ability to undo and redo actions, «no clip» being enabled so creators can fly through objects, snap-to-ground, and also a really incredible and simple scaling system to make objects huge, small, flat, or otherwise.
One of the larger changes that Forge creators will be excited to hear is the number of objects that 343 is allowing players to use in each of their creations. Halo 5 Forge creators could add up to 1,600 objects. In Halo Infinite, the current build of Forge allows for around 7,000 objects total. Further, players can scale objects to the size
