The newest Halo Infinite event rewards accuracy and reflexes with the new Tactical Slayer playlist and cosmetics. Special limited events have become commonplace for Halo Inifinite's free-to-play multiplayer. The themed events allow players to participate in special game types and work towards unlocking unique cosmetics and armors. While players wait for new Halo Infinite multiplayer maps, co-op campaign, and Forge Mode, they have been given a number of themed events to play and cosmetics to unlock.
Previous limited events for Halo Infinite's multiplayer have introduced themed game types and items such as the Tenrai Samurai Spartan Armor and the Cyber Showdown Neon Mohawk. Certain unlocks are currently only available for purchase using in-game currency that, at this time, can only be purchased and not earned. 343 Industries has hinted that players will be able to play to earn Halo Infinite credits in Season 2, which also promises to deliver new maps and story-centric limited events. The next season of Halo Infinite's multiplayer won't be launching till May 3. Still, players will not need to wait long to play new game modes and earn new cosmetics for their Spartans.
