Despite early problems with overpriced microtransactions for armor, Halo Infinite has managed to keep fans and critics mostly entertained. Acclaimed horror film director John Carpenter recently claimed that Halo Infinite was the best in the franchise. Whether that is true or not is entirely down to personal opinion, yet the multiplayer portion of the game is still causing some fans frustrations.
Halo Infinite's multiplayer did not get off to the best of starts during its beta period due to limited playlists, a slow battle pass leveling system, and more. Fans even threatened to boycott the game over the price of armor sets, which saw players being charged $8 for the color blue in Halo Infinite's online store. While changes to the store are being put in place by developer 343, fans are still finding issues within the game. One video shows one of the frustrating glitches that occurs within Halo Infinite, where grenades will not explode after a player's death.

The short clip, which was posted to Reddit, shows a player in Halo Infinite rounding a corner to see the enemy holding the Oddball. In a frantic melee, the players shoot and throw grenades at each other, with the enemy coming out on top. The player though, believes they should be getting the last laugh as they have stuck a plasma grenade to the enemy's leg, only for it to never go off. As the player detailed, this moment was not only frustrating because the kill wasn't secured, but the entire ranked match was lost largely due to this one moment.
