A brand-new Half-Life: Alyx mod, titled Half-Life: Incursion, adds an action-packed horde mode to the VR shooter. The latest installment in the beloved Half-Life series, released in 2020, allowed players to immerse themselves in the franchise's sci-fi world through virtual reality headsets. The title makes expert use of VR mechanics, with players realistically reloading weapons and using «gravity gloves» to manipulate physics objects throughout the world. Despite being a prequel Half-Life: Alyx also served as a follow-up to the cliffhanger ending of Half-Life 2: Episode 2, paving way for the long anticipated Half-Life 3. While rumors suggest that Half-Life: Alyx will come to PSVR 2, for now the title is only playable on PC-compatible VR headsets.
