A concept art image from Legendary's adaptation for Jordan Vogt-Roberts Gundam has been revealed. Gundam is based on the famous Japanese anime created by Yoshiyuki Tomino and Sunrise in 1979, which has spawned a revolution of TV shows, films, books, Manga, video games and massively popular model kits of the Gundam suits.

Gundam are, essentially, robotic military suits, called mecha. They are piloted by humans, similar to Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim, for audiences unfamiliar with the origins
