Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons release date reveal and more announced

Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons is the next expansion coming to ArenaNet’s highly successful MMORPG. A while ago, the developer announced that the release date for the expansion would be sometime in February. However, February is almost here and no date for the End of Dragons launch has been revealed. Until today, when ArenaNet announced the date when it will reveal a much more important date, the launch date. On February 1, the release date for End of Dragons will be revealed.

Along with the release date announcement, the Guild Wars 2 developer also shared a schedule for Livestreams that will reveal more details and content for End of Dragons. The new schedule is slightly different from the one announced back in October 2021.

The New Kaineng City Map Tour was originally going to happen on January 28. Now, it will take place on February 8. Kaineng City was a major location from Guild Wars: Factions, so it will be very interesting to see how it has changed in the centuries between Factions and End of Dragons.

A week after the tour, ArenaNet will host a Livestream to reveal details about the final Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons Mastery line, Jade Tech. Then, there will be a stream previewing the music of End of Dragons. This is not to be sniffed at. I know it’s not gameplay, but the Guild Wars 2 team always delivers in the music department. Finally, ArenaNet revealed that there will be some form of celebration to mark the launch of End of Dragons. This is definitely something to keep an eye out for because it could score you some in-game freebies.
