Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons introduces us to the mysterious land of Cantha. In addition to new maps to explore, there are tons of new materials available, such as Chunks of Pure Jade. This mineral can only be acquired in a few different ways, making it a bit rare.

We are going to look at every way you can obtain Chunks of Pure Jade, as well as what you can do with them. Because this item can only be obtained in Dragon's End, you will need to complete the story a majority of the story until you can access this map. This guide may contain some slight location-based spoilers if you have not been to this map yet. First, let's go over the primary way to obtain Chunks of Pure Jade.
Chunks of Pure Jade can be obtained from mining Jadeite Veins by using an Orichalcum Mining Pick. These are green mining nodes found in the following locations in Dragon's End.
To quickly find Chunks of Pure Jade, search around the rim of the Jade Sea, as shown in the image above.
By mining, you can get up to four Chunks of Pure Jade. In total, you will only be able to mine 20 Jadeite Veins per day. Once you have mined for jade 20 times, the veins will disappear until the following day.
To maximize the amount of jade that you get, be sure to always stop at Jadeite Veins and have an Orichalcum Mining Pick equipped.
While mining from Orichalcum nodes anywhere in Cantha, you will have a slight chance to obtain a Chunk of Pure Jade. This is rare and not guaranteed, making this an inefficient way to gather jade.
